Flat Foot

Flat foot is a common problem encountered in children. Though the majority of them do not need any surgical treatment, a small subset of these children with severe deformity or pain will need surgical intervention. The following procedures are done for flat feet-

• Excision of accessory navicular
• Calcaneal lengthening osteotomy
• 3-C Osteotomy
• Sub-talar arthrodesis
• Triple arthrodesis
