Dr Venkatadass K S the head of the Paediatric Orthopaedic division of the Department of Orthopaedics and Spine Surgery at Ganga Hospital. After completing his basic Orthopaedic training at KMC, Mangalore he had further specialized training in Paediatric Orthopaedics and Limb reconstruction. He had his Hip Preservation Fellowship at Rady Childrens Hospital, San Diego, USA. He was part of the research team that won Eurospine Award in 2008. He got the IOA Young Ambassador Award in 2016 and won the IOA Silver Jubilee Oration in 2018. He has won Gold Medals in many National Conferences and is an invited faculty in paediatric orthopaedic meetings across the country. He has many international publications and has authored three book chapters. His main area of interests are Paediatric Hip Disorders and Hip Preservation Surgery.
