Ganga Medical Centre and Hospitals (GMCH) has been identified as the Centre for Quality Promotion (CQP) by the Consortium of Accredited Healthcare Organizations (CAHO). CAHO is a non-profit organization working to improve healthcare quality in the country in coordination with National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers and Quality Council of India.
CAHO is a platform of all accredited hospitals to promote and continuously improve the quality and safety of healthcare services in India. It also facilitates communication amongst the accredited HCOs, sharing best practices and providing benchmarks. In order to achieve its mission and as a recognition for commendable service quality, CAHO has chosen Ganga Medical Centre & Hospitals to function as CQP, the 25th Centre recognized in India. The primary function of CQP would be to handhold other healthcare organizations towards accreditation.
