The first Ganga Hospital Founder's Oration was held on Friday 14th June, 2013 at Ganga Hospital Auditorium. Ganga Hospital was founded in 1978 by Mrs and Dr JG Shanmughanathan as a 17 bedded hospital. Today Ganga Hospital has grown into a 450 bedded hospital standing tall as an example of academic and professional excellence. To celebrate the journey of the founders who inspired the team to reach such great heights, the Founder's oration has been instituted. Dr. Devi Shetty, Chairman, Narayana Group of Hospitals, Bengaluru delivered the first Founder's Oration on the topic of 'Affordable Health Care'. Hon. Justice Shri P. Sathasivam, Judge, Supreme Court of India was the Chief Guest and inaugurated the lecture series. Shri. D. R. Kaarthikeyan, Former Director CBI, India and Shri. K. Venkatraman, MD & CEO, Karur Vysya Bank felicitated the occasion.
