Eyebrow Reconstruction

A 24 year old lady presented to us with absence of the left eyebrow with contour deformity and scarring of forehead. Her history revealed that she had a hemangioma excision done during her childhood.

Different methods described are

Grafts with hair – Punch graft, minigraft, strip grafts
Vascularised scalp flap based on anterior or posterior branch of superficial temporal artery
Interpolation flap from scalp

Here we used the vascularised scalp flap based on the anterior branch of superficial temporal artery as the area was heavily scarred.
