Fellowship in Joint Replacement Surgery
The Joint Replacement Unit of Ganga Hospital is seeking to recruit a ‘Arthroplasty Fellow’ from 1st May 2008. The unit currently performs more than 500 joint replacements every year and the surgeries include primary hip, knee and revision surgeries. Navigation in knee replacement surgeries are also performed and the centre is one of the Referral Centres for BrainLAB for navigated arthroplasty surgeries.
The fellow will work under Dr S Rajasekaran and Dr P Dhanasekara Raja and will be actively involved in planning, work-up, assisting and performing surgeries under supervision. He will also be responsible for research activities of the department, on completion of which he will be supported for presentation in appropriate meetings.
