- Ultrasound in the department including Doppler, bedside coverage.
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) including Diffusion tract imaging (DTI), Spectroscopy and Angiogram.

The Department is highly specialized with a Siemens Somatom Emotion CT Scan 6 slice scanner, Siemens Magnetom Symphony 1.5 Tesla MRI machine, Siemens Ultrasound, Computed and Digital Radiography equipments. The incorporation of the PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) has enabled immediate viewing of images in all the wards, outpatient departments and ICU, enhancing the quality of care delivered to patients. Teleradiology Services are available for reporting round the clock for emergency care and provides tele(remote) online reporting services for CT and MRI . In addition the department strongly supports research activities of the hospital.
The department functions round the clock covering emergencies. The department delivers about 300000 X-rays, 6200 MRI, 5000 CT Scans and 2000 ultrasonograms in a year. Scheduled teaching programmes for the orthopaedic residents and clinicoradiologic review meetings happen on a regular basis.
