2. “Harvard - Wockhardt Award for Medical Excellence”  by Harvard Medical International, Boston, USA for the year 2007 to Dr S  Rajasekaran for his research in the field of spinal tuberculosis, for identifying the natural course of kyphosis in  childhood tuberculosis, spine at risk signs and for the work on endplates of the lumbar disc.
