Shoulder & Elbow

The Shoulder unit ahs grown into one of the premier national units for the treatment of shoulder pathology. The unit is headed by Dr. J Dheenadhayalan who received his formal training under Professor Carr at the Nuffield Orthopedic Center, Oxford.

The unit was established on 27 April 2007 and was inaugurated by Professor Simon Frostick, University of Liverpool. The Unit performs a wide variety of surgical procedures. The presence of an in-house radiological team has aided early diagnosis and management of shoulder pathology. A dedicated physiotherapy team helps optimise end-results and the aids in early rehabilitation and return-to-work time for patients.
