Dr S Raja Sabapathy has taken over as the president of the Indian section of the Association International Trauma Care (ITACCS) at the 12th Annual Conference held at Kochi from 21 - 24 August 2008.

ITACCS is the leading international multidisciplinary society dedicated to improving the care of trauma patients. The society originated as the International Trauma Anesthesia and Critical Care Society (ITACCS) in 1988. ITC has evolved into an international not-for-profit scientific foundation and professional association now active in over 40 countries with a reputation for producing and sponsoring a large volume of high quality educational programs and academic activities.

Dr J Balavenkat, Consultant Anaesthesiologist, Ganga Hospital, has been elected as one of the Executive Committee Members.
